Desert Springs Golf
Desert Springs Resort, Europe’s only international award-winning luxury championship desert golf course is located in Cuevas del Almanzora. There is also golf course that is said by serious players to rival La Manga not far away called Aquilon Golf Club and is between Vera and Aguilas around 25 minutes maximum drive from the site . There are two more 18 hole courses as well within 15 minutes drive at Mojacar which is called Club Marina and 10 minutes drive at Garrucha called Valle de Este. This Club has more facilities than most with spa / shops/ bars and restaurants.
Blue Flag Beaches
One of three Blue Flag beaches in Mojácar, this gem is the first stop when arriving from the east and is easily accessed by way of the neighboring town, Garrucha. It offers a number of water sports such as kayaking, sailing, banana boating and wake boarding. Laguna del Río Aguas, a protected natural area, is located at the end of this beach where the river meets the sea.
